This painting draws on the native palette of the Surf Coast bushland—deep greens of dense foliage, flashes of ochre earth, and the unexpected pink of flowering gums in bloom. Energetic marks pulse through the composition, echoing the rhythm and movement of wind through trees or a bird's sudden flight.
