Rowena Martinich is a Surfcoast based artist, renowned for her use of radiant colour in abstract expressionist paintings and public art. Rowena paints in a multitude of architectural contexts; embellishing foyers, commercial interiors, entire building facades, transitory spaces as well as residential interiors.
In early 2013 Rowena Martinich was commissioned by John and Bindi Simson of Simson cards to create a large-scale artwork for their meeting room as part of a total refurbishment of their office space in Moor Street, Fitzroy. Clare Cousins Architects was the design team behind the project. Photo Credit – Shannon McGrath
